EVENTI Task @ EVALITA 2014 Training Set Part1
Part of the training set of the EVENTI task organized within the EVALITA 2014 evaluation campaign (https://sites.google.com/site/eventievalita2014/), it consists of news stories taken from the different corpora (ISST - Italian Syntactic-Semantic Treebank (http://www.ilc.cnr.it/viewpage.php/sez=ricerca/id=895/vers=ita) and PAROLE (Bindi R., Marinelli R., Biagini L., Goggi S., Picchi E., Rossi S. 2006. LE-PAROLE, Italian Corpus Description, Part Available for Distribution. December 2006)) and additional documents downloaded from the Web. Files have been manually annotated with temporal information at different levels (i.e. events, temporal expressions, signals and temporal relations) following the It-TimeML Annotation Guidelines (https://sites.google.com/site/eventievalita2014/file-cabinet). This resource has been developed at Istituto di Linguistica Computazionale "A. Zampolli" (ILC) - CNR in Pisa (http://www.ilc.cnr.it/) and TrentoRISE in Trento (http://www.trentorise.eu/).
